1kg of fresh pomfret fish (reineta) or any other white meat fish
1kg of lemons/lime
1 hand full of coriander leaves (cilantro)
1 avocado (palta)
2 red onions (cebollas)
1 rocoto pepper
1 evaporated milk (leche evaporada)
How the magic works…
First always wash ya’ hands! Then start to cut the meat of the pomfret fish into two-fingers-thick cubes. Squeeze the lemons and limes. Then chop the onions into long strips. Slice the avocado as well as the coriander into small pieces. Now be cautious. The rocoto pepper is very spicy. Remove all the seeds and cut the pepper very thinly. Put the seeds away and just use the pepper parts. Mix all ingredients together in a big bowl. Add the evaporated milk and the lemon/ lime juice. Season with salt until you like it. Wait a few minutes until the ingredients absorb the flavors. Listo! Buen provecho!
